I met Paola and Kosta and immediately I could see: These two were meant to be.
As a photographer, you sometimes have to work a little harder with your clients to make them feel comfortable in front of the lens. One of the reasons why I would rather stand behind the camera instead of in front, is that the lens just terrifies me. Then after a while and a few sneak peaks you realise that it is actually a great experience and you become more relaxed.
Paola and Kosta was a whole other ball game. Because they where so focussed on each other, the whole shoot was such a breeze and pleasant experience. These two have a tangible vibrance around each other. They laugh and make jokes and we as photographers feed off those “in the moment” shots that stamped this Engagement shoot with such a natural and joyful tone.
They decided on Pretville for their location and that pretty much summed up the shoot. Apart from the many photo opportunities, it felt like we were in another country and the creative space placed Paola and Kosta in such a relaxed environment. We all really enjoyed it and it was clear to see that these two are embarking on a very special journey.
Henry Drummond once said: “To love abundantly is to live abundantly, and to love forever is to live forever.” If that be the case, they are heading for an immortalised life filled with blessings in abundance.
